Eucalyptus Honey

3,00 4,30

Eucalyptus is an evergreen tree plant, native to Oceania and Philippines. It is a very common plant in Sicily. Eucalyptus derives from the Greek and means “hidden good”, in fact from its leaves an essential oil is produced that has strong calming properties for cough, antiseptic, balsamic and antiparasitic properties. As the name suggests, this honey is produced by bees who suck the nectar from the flowers of the plant of the same name. The flowering period is between July and August. It is a very particular and characteristic honey, it has an amber color and a rather dense consistency in fact it tends to crystallize quickly.
