The word rosemary comes from two Latin terms: ros (dew) and marinus (of the sea). Rosemary has a bushy shape, with sturdy shrubs that can reach over 2 meters. It is always green and its woody shrubs welcome needle-like, long, pointed leaves that rise upwards. Their color is a beautiful bright green and on the underside of the leaf the color is white and silver. Perfect for flavoring meats and vegetables. It has strong antioxidant, antibacterial and antiseptic properties. It is one of the main components of some liver-purifying herbal teas and is useful against digestive problems.
